Kiwi law professor Mark Henaghan, head of Otago Law School, holds a legendary status among students and alumni alike. But tales of secret sex, nudity on the law camp and other such stories added a certain sense of the “vintage Henaghan”, as one participant put it.
Speaking to alumni in Auckland this week, the professor outlined some of his earlier and current adventures running one of the country’s top law schools, evidencing both his sense of humor and liberal sense of what students should or should not be doing in New Zealand’s “party city” university town of Dunedin.
