A former Deputy Attorney General under then-New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, Golden will be a senior member of the firm’s white-collar crime and internal investigations groups, defending clients faced with enforcement actions at the state or federal level.
Golden served as a Deputy Attorney General for New York State from 1999-2004, during which time she headed a number of complex litigation and policy initiatives into Wall Street research practices and mutual fund abuses. From 2004-06, Golden was senior managing director and head of regulatory affairs at the Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. Previously, she served as a federal prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s Office in Minnesota as well as an associate independent counsel during the Whitewater investigation.
