Law Firm In Video Deal – DLA Piper Advises Activision On Acquisition Of Bizarre Creations

LAWFUEL – The Law Firm Newswire – DLA Piper has advised Activision, Inc. on the acquisition of independent UK-based video games developer, Bizarre Creations, for an undisclosed sum. The deal is the first development acquisition that the video game publisher has made in the United Kingdom.

Bizarre Creations is a premier video games developer and a leader in the racing category, a $1.4 billion market that is the fourth most popular videogame genre and represents more than 10% of the total video game market worldwide. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision, Bizarre Creations will continue with the same management team to develop games from its 160-person development studio in Liverpool.
