McGuinness has joined the Firm as counsel in the Washington, DC office. Mr. McGuinness will draw on his experience serving major clients in his new role as a member of Chadbourne’s corporate department.

Mr. McGuinness, 52, most recently a partner at the Washington law firm of Fleischman & Walsh LLP, has specialized in transactional matters for the oil and gas industry involving securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions. He has also represented a wide range of corporate clients, including companies in the telecommunications industry, on M&A transactions, public and private securities offerings, securities law compliance, corporate governance, negotiations of commercial transactions and the corporate aspects of bankruptcies.
