Loeb & Loeb Continues to Expand National Real Estate and Bankruptcy Practices

Russell has joined the firm’s Nashville office as Of Counsel in the Litigation Department where his practice focuses primarily on title insurance and real estate litigation, as well as the representation of creditors in bankruptcy in connection with enforcement of their rights and their protection from debtor fraud. Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb, Russell was Vice President and Chief Trial Counsel at Fidelity National Title Company.

Russell has both prosecuted and defended disputes in federal and state courts regarding real property disputes, protecting the contractual rights of secured creditors in bankruptcy courts, and institutional lenders from claims of wrongful foreclosure.

In title insurance matters, he litigates title and accompanying real estate issues on behalf clients such as Fidelity National Title, Chicago Title, and Ticor Title, who each insure institutional lenders and property owners. Russell has conducted lengthy jury and non-jury cases, having served as lead counsel in those matters. He has also successfully represented his clients on appeal following trial, obtaining affirmances on matters involving easements, non-judicial foreclosure, mortgages, and the validity of state statutes.

Russell earned is B.A. at the University of Washington at Seattle, and his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound.
