Loeb & Loeb LLP announced an expansion of its Los Angeles office with the addition of a lateral group from Richman, Mann, Chizever, Phillips & Duboff, effective February 1. Joining as partners are Fredric N. Richman, Gerald M. Chizever, Jerry S. Phillips and Allan B. Duboff. Also joining the firm are counsel Richard L. Mann and associates Kenneth S. Ingber, Christopher J. Kelly and Arash Khalili.

The group’s practice focuses on corporate, securities, labor and litigation matters. They have represented a range of public and private company clients, including Ambassadors International, Inc.; Ambassadors Group, Inc.; Dick Butkus; The Grand Havana Room; Jewish Community Centers of Greater Los Angeles; Kennedy-Wilson; Niagra LaSalle Steel; OSI Systems, Inc.; Pelican Products, Inc., Scope Industries; Tavern on the Green; Wedbush Morgan Securities, Inc.; and Wolfgang Puck Worldwide, Inc.

Fred Richman has been practicing law in California for more than 30 years, concentrating in the areas of labor relations, corporate and real estate law, and the representation of clients in the entertainment industry.

Jerry Chizever’s practice encompasses corporate, securities and real estate matters, including business formation and mergers and acquisitions. He advises businesses of all sizes, from start-up enterprises to publicly held corporations.

Allan Duboff specializes in corporate and securities, limited liability company, partnership, real estate, secured lending and other transactional matters. He is the Chair of the Business & Corporations Section of the L.A. County Bar Association. A leading authority on limited liability companies, he helped draft California’s Limited Liability Company Act.

Jerry Phillips is a litigator. He has handled securities, business, commercial, unfair competition, probate, real estate, insurance and personal injury cases in both state and federal courts.

Richard Mann specializes in labor and employment law, business law, and litigation. He has represented clients in all aspects of the employment relationship. He has negotiated collective bargaining agreements for clients throughout the United States, particularly in the entertainment, hospitality and restaurant industries.
