LONDON- LAWFUEL – Law News Network -DataCert, Inc., the leading provider of electronic invoicing and legal spend management solutions, today announced that more than 250 in-house counsel attended the 13th European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA) annual conference held in Berlin, Germany, on the 9th and 10th of November. The conference, organised by the Company Lawyers’ Section of the German Bar Association, was held in German and English.

Counsel from throughout Europe gathered to listen to keynote speakers including:

RA Hans-Peter Benckendorff, M.A. Senior Counsel of Deutsche Bank AG and President of the Company Lawyers’ Section of the German Law Society;
Dr. Roland Hartwig, General Counsel, Bayer AG; and
Pierre Delsaux, Head of Unit, Company Law, Corporate Governance and Financial Crime, DG Internal Market and Services, European Commission.
The conference addressed a wide range of topics relevant to Germany and the European Union such as law department management, legal technology and new developments in European corporate law.
