LUCE FORWARD PARTNER STEVEN S. WALL REJOINS SAN DIEGO MUSEUM OF MAN’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

SAN DIEGO (October 19, 2010) – Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP, a prominent California law firm with a national reputation, today announced Partner Steven S. Wall has rejoined the Board of Directors for the San Diego Museum of Man. Wall served on the Museum’s board from 1977 through 1988 and was Board President in 1987. His return coincides with the arrival of new Museum Executive Director and former Luce Forward Partner Dr. Micah D. Parzen.

Wall’s return to the Museum’s board of directors provides him with the opportunity to strengthen the board’s membership and to assist with the Museum’s fundraising efforts. While previously serving on the Museum’s board of directors, Wall’s greatest accomplishment was leading the effort to renovate the Balboa Park Administration Building through city, county, state, federal and private funding. The building was originally designed by famous architect Irving Gills and was the first building erected in Balboa Park.

Wall is also the Practice Group Leader of Luce Forward’s Real Estate & Environmental Litigation group and specializes in real estate litigation, condemnation, title insurance and land use/environmental litigation matters and green construction disputes.

The San Diego Museum of Man is a cultural and physical anthropology museum. It collects, preserves, interprets, and communicates evidence of human development and creativity to advance understanding and respect for all cultures. It teaches people about people. Luce Forward has had a representative of the Museum’s Board of Directors for nearly the past 40 years.
