Mid-East Law Firm News – Eversheds wins panel appointment to Dubai Holding

LawFuel – Legal Annoucnements – International law firm Eversheds has successfully secured a place on the global legal panel of Dubai Holding following a re-panelling exercise. The appointment means that Eversheds are able to advise all the group companies that are managed by Dubai Holding, including Dubai Properties Group, Jumeirah International, TECOM Investments, Dubai International Capital, and Sama Dubai. In 2007, Dubai International Capital, completed the £800 million acquisition of Tussauds Group and acquired Alliance Medical for £600 million.

Created in 2004, Dubai Holding has consolidated and leads Dubai’s large-scale infrastructure and investment projects, across 13 industries, for the success and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the surrounding region.

The Eversheds team was led by head of banking and finance in the Middle East, Amjad Hussain, who was supported by Chris Jobson, managing partner of the Middle East, and John Kemkers, Director Abu Dhabi.
