Corporate partners Silvana Schenone and Cameron Taylor are the firm’s Dealmaker finalists, leading numerous iconic transactions in the last year.
Leading the firm’s Auckland Corporate Division and appointed to the Takeovers Panel, Silvana was awarded Highly Commended for the category on 2017. She is consistently sought after by blue chip and international clients for her pragmatic yet relentless approach to deal making.
Silvana had another outstanding year, advising multinationals like Synlait Milk, CBL Group, TIAA-CREF Global Agriculture Group and CITIC Capital, on their largest and most complex transactions.
Corporate Partner Cameron is a leading dealmaker in New Zealand, and also had an exceptional year in 2017 reflecting his highly sought after M&A skills, both within New Zealand and from multinational clients. Highlights from 2017 include acting for Tomra Systems ASA on its acquisition of Compac Holdings and Rangatira Limited on its sale of Tuatara Brewing Company Limited to DB Breweries Limited.
He has acted on a number of significant domestic, international and trans-Tasman M&A deals in 2017, with an extensive international and domestic profile as an Officer of the International Bar Association’s Closely Held and Growing Business Enterprises Committee.
The winners of the Australasian Law Awards will be announced at a gala dinner on 17 May at The Star Sydney.
This recognition follows the firm’s success at the New Zealand Law Awards last November, where the firm was awarded five out of the possible six deal awards.
