New York, NY – October 17, 2006 – LAWFUEL – Legal News Network – Pepper Hamilton LLP announced that it has expanded its New York office and moved to a new address in Manhattan.

The office will serve as the center of Pepper’s international practice, and will focus on international work, cross-border transactions, private equity, corporate restructuring and other corporate work.

“We are expanding our capabilities in New York to better serve our international and corporate clients, and to be closer to existing clients in that region,” said Robert E. Heideck, Pepper’s executive partner. “We intend to grow the office deliberately and steadily.”

Pepper partner James D. Rosener, head of the firm’s international practice, has relocated to New York from the firm’s Berwyn, Pa., office, and is taking the lead on the expansion of the New York office.

Robert S. Hertzberg, co-chair of Pepper’s Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice Group and a partner in the Detroit office, will be spending a portion of his time in New York and will lead the expansion of the corporate restructuring practice there.
