PARIS, June 29, 2004 - LAWFUEL- Piper Rudnick LLP announced today that it is taking its first step overseas by opening a Paris office. The partners of Cariddi, Mee, Rue will become partners of Piper Rudnick and will serve as the Paris office of Piper Rudnick. They are currently partners of the U.S. law firm Hogan and Hartson LLP and have represented Hogan and Hartson in Paris since December 1995. The Cariddi partners joining Piper Rudnick are led by Alan Cariddi and include: Bruce C. Mee, Fabrice Rue, Christine Bougis, Bijan E. Eghbal and Carol A.F. Umhoefer.
