Pinsent Masons Grow Australian Practice With New Partners

Pinsent Masons has grown its infrastructure and energy practice with the addition of two new partners.

Mark Waddell and James Morgan-Payler have joined the firm from global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright.

Sydney-based Mr Waddell has two decades’ work handling construction infrastructure and related work,, including representing some of China’s largest infrastructure projects from his bases in Beijing and Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Melbourne-based Mr Morgan-Payler brings 18 years’ experience to his new role at Pinsent Masons, having previously held the role of head of the construction and engineering team at NRF.

Mr Morgan-Payler has worked heavily on the development of major infrastructure and PPP projects which extend across the power sector, ports, transport, mining, and commercial and residential developments.
