SAINT LOUIS, Oct. 12, 2004 - LAWFUEL - Law, attorney, legal, law firm news John W. (Jack) Walbran has joined the international law firm Bryan Cave LLP as of counsel in its St. Louis office. Walbran will be a member of the firm's Corporate Compliance and Defense Client Service Group, with a specialty in government investigations and government contracts. Walbran has worked since 1977 for the McDonnell Douglas Corporation, then for Boeing when the two merged in 1997. Most recently, he served within Boeing's Law Department as vice president and counsel in the Litigation Group. He began his career with McDonnell Douglas as assistant general counsel, later also serving as chief counsel of McDonnell Aircraft Company and eventually as vice president and associate general counsel of the Aerospace Group; and finally as vice president and associate general counsel responsible for major litigation and investigations. Walbran received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, cum laude, in 1964, and his A.B., also cum laude, from Harvard in 1961. He is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Missouri Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
