SAN FRANCISCO, August 9 Legal news, law news, law firm news & research at LAWFUEL – Piper Rudnick Labor and Employment partner Dov M. Grunschlag has been inducted as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, the law firm announced.

Mr. Grunschlag was elected a Fellow in the College’s Class of 2004 following a nomination process that solicited the opinions of opposing counsel, clients, and judges. He is the first Piper Rudnick attorney to be so named.

“We are immensely proud that the College has honored Dov with this recognition of his excellence as an advocate,” said Robb Scott, managing partner of Piper Rudnick’s San Francisco office. “Dov exemplifies Piper Rudnick’s dedication to the ideals of the legal profession and to first-rate client service.”

Mr. Grunschlag’s practice combines labor and employment law and general litigation. In the labor and employment arena, he represents and counsels employers in all workplace-related matters. He has litigated many cases in state and federal courts throughout California and represents employers before administrative agencies. Mr. Grunschlag also has experience litigating before courts and arbitrators in commercial cases, real estate disputes, software implementation issues, and product liability claims.

From 1968 to 1974, Mr. Grunschlag was a professor of law at the University of California at Davis.

The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, founded in 1995, is a nonprofit professional association dedicated to promoting achievement, advancement, and excellence in the practice of labor and employment law. The College both honors leading lawyers in the practice area nationwide and provides them a forum to promote professional knowledge.

Mr. Grunschlag officially became a Fellow of the College during its annual induction dinner August 8 at the Biltmore Hotel in Atlanta.
