November 2010 – Skadden is representing Novell, Inc. in its acquisition by Attachmate Corporation and in the concurrent sale of its intellectual property assets to CPTN Holdings LLC, a consortium of technology companies organized by Microsoft Corporation, announced on November 22. The two transactions are valued at $2.2 billion.
