WHO: Keynote addresses will be delivered by LawWithoutWalls’ founders, Associate Professor Michele DeStefano and Michael Bossone, Special Advisor to Dean Patricia D. White, and John Browning, the author of the first social media textbook, “The Lawyers Guide to Social Networking.” The annual symposium is by the University of Miami Law Review. Speakers will include judges and experts in the field of intellectual property, privacy and social media.
WHAT: “Social Media and the Law,” a two-day annual symposium that will include panels such as “Should Judges and Lawyers Be Friends (On Facebook)?” and “Will You Have a Digital Afterlife?”
WHEN: Friday, Feb. 15, and Saturday, Feb. 16, with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. Friday’s sessions will run from 10:25 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday’s from 8 a.m. until 1:20 p.m.
