The international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP announced today that Ayşe Yüksel, 34, has joined the Firm as a corporate partner in its affiliated multinational partnership, Chadbourne & Parke. Ms. Yüksel will work out of the Firm’s London and New York offices. She comes to Chadbourne from Debevoise & Plimpton, in New York.

Ms. Yüksel has extensive experience in a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, private equity investments and financing transactions. She regularly represents U.S. and non-U.S. clients in international transactions, with a particular focus on Turkey, the Middle East and central and eastern Europe. She also has significant experience representing non-U.S. issuers in Rule 144A/Regulation S securities offerings. Her recent practice has emphasized the media, technology and telecommunications sectors.

“We’re pleased to welcome Ayşe to Chadbourne & Parke,” said Charles K. O’Neill, Managing Partner of Chadbourne & Parke LLP. “Her considerable experience – particularly in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, and in the emerging markets of Turkey, the Middle East and central and eastern Europe – will be of tremendous value to the Firm’s clients.”

William Greason, Managing Partner of the London office, added, “Ayşe’s expertise in Turkey and throughout the region is a perfect fit with the Firm’s expanding practice in this part of the world.” Ms. Yüksel’s arrival follows the opening of the Firm’s Warsaw and Kyiv offices earlier this month, when the Firm welcomed 44 new attorneys to Chadbourne.

At Debevoise & Plimpton, Ms. Yüksel focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. She also has worked at Dewey Ballantine, where she spent time in their London and New York offices, focusing on emerging markets and capital markets transactions. Ms. Yüksel received her B.A. from Harvard University and her J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law.
