The national law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP (K&L) is pleased to announce that Keith Miller has joined K&L’s New York office as a partner. Prior to joining K&L, Miller was a counsel at Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft LLP.

Miller’s practice focuses on securities and commercial litigation for investment banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds, commercial banks and corporations. His litigation experience includes representing clients in state and federal court and before arbitration panels, conducting internal investigations, and representing clients in investigations, administrative proceedings, and criminal and civil proceedings brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the New York Stock Exchange, the NASD, the United States Attorney’s Office and various other state and federal agencies. Miller is also involved in providing advice to financial institutions and public companies on a broad range of securities regulatory issues involving recent legislation and regulations. Earlier in his career, he served as a Branch Chief in the SEC’s Northeast Regional Office’s division of Broker-Dealer Enforcement and Interpretations.

Commenting on Miller’s arrival, Peter J.
