Thursday, 1 July 2004 – LAWFUEL – The Munich, Frankfurt and Budapest offices of the international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges advised Villeroy & Boch AG on the sale of three tile factories in Hungary, Romania and Italy to the Austrian Lasselsberger Group. The sale in Hungary and Romania is subject to clearance by the competent anti-trust authorities.
The sale of the tile factories forms part of the new strategic orientation of the tile business segment of Villeroy & Boch AG.
The transaction team of Weil, Gotshal & Manges was made up of partners Gerhard Schmidt (Munich), Heiner Drueke (Frankfurt) and David Dederick (Budapest) as well as associates Olaf Benning, Robert Abt (both Munich) and Arnold Buessemaker (Frankfurt).
