UK Law Firm Kennedy's Welcome Trio of Lawyers

UK based, international  law firm Kennedys has strengthened its insurance practice with the appointment of Ian Davies as a partner, as he becomes the third former partner of Lyons Davidson to move over.

Mr Davies follows Mark Walsh and Robert Wallace, as well as solicitor Sandip Sidhu and legal executive Rachel Harbour, in joining the law firm’s Birmingham office.

Kennedys’ senior partner Nick Thomas says: “Along with his colleagues, Mark and Robert, Ian will be a real driving force behind further building our credentials in the Birmingham market and growing our insurance client base and presence across the UK and internationally.”

Kennedys’ Birmingham office, which specialises in all lines of insurance defendant work, is its fifth largest in the UK and now has 10 partners and 30 other fee-earners.

Mr Davies has focused entirely on insurance litigation and has existing relationships with many of Kennedys’ insurer clients.

Mr Walsh has led the high-value catastrophic injury claims team at Lyons Davidson for the past seven years, having moved to the Solihull office in 2002. Mr Wallace has 26 years’ experience in personal injury working as a general liability specialist and became a partner in 2011.
