NEW YORK, NY (February 28, 2019) – Venable LLP is pleased to announce that Patrice D. Stavile has joined the firm’s Real Estate Practice as counsel in the New York office. Ms. Stavile brings in-depth experience in handling large and complex commercial real estate and sophisticated leasing transactions.

Ms. Stavile’s practice includes real property acquisitions, sales, and financing; corporate formation and joint venture formation; retail leases, license and distribution agreements; office leases, ground and net leases, and restaurant leases; and debt and corporate restructuring and real estate workouts. Prior to joining Venable, Ms. Stavile was general counsel to M1 Real Estate and Façonnable USA, where she represented these companies in real property, and retail and commercial transactions in the United States and overseas. She has assisted in matters involving litigations and tax audits; has handled the sales of foreign companies; managed the liquidation of leases and retail businesses in the United States, China, and overseas; negotiated venture agreements for logistic projects in Eastern Europe; and prepared mezzanine financing vehicles for clients’ joint ventures. She has also led the conversion of a NYC office building with a net lease into a sub-leasehold condominium, negotiated air rights contracts, handled the acquisitions of condominium units, negotiated construction agreements, and worked on various residential matters.

Ms. Stavile received her J.D., with distinction, from the Hofstra University School of Law, her M.S. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and her B.A., cum laude, from Queens College, CUNY.
