WASHINGTON, D.C., April 7, 2004 – Holland & Knight announced today that
Helen E. Disenhaus has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C., office as a
partner in the Telecommunications Group.

Ms. Disenhaus brings more than 25 years of telecommunications
experience to the firm, including experience in wireline, wireless and
satellite services regulation and broadcast and cable television matters.
She represents domestic and international carriers, large
telecommunications users, government entities, equipment manufacturers and
public utilities. Her practice includes counseling and strategic planning
regarding opportunities and changes in the telecommunications marketplace
resulting from telecommunications legislation, increased domestic and
international competition, and other developments in telecommunications
regulation in the United States and abroad.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Disenhaus was a partner in the
Washington, D.C., office of Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman.

Ms. Disenhaus earned her bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke
College in 1970, a master of arts in teaching from Wesleyan University in
1972, and her J.D. in 1977 from Yale University. She is a member of the
District of Columbia Bar, and is included in Global 3000’s listing of
recommended U.S. telecommunications attorneys.
