Wednesday 26 January 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – The Prague office of international law firm Clifford Chance LLP has taken another step to strengthen its position in the Czech legal market by bringing in Alex Cook, a senior corporate lawyer, to the position of Counsel from January 2005.
Alex has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the telecommunications and financial institutions sectors, and also in the energy and media sectors. He also specialises in joint ventures, private equity and equity capital markets.
Prior to joining Clifford Chance, Alex was based in Budapest for 6 years as a Senior Associate at Allen & Overy.
Alex studied law at the College of Law in London and modern languages (German and Russian) at Oxford University.
