Thank you to our associates for ranking us #4 on The American Lawyer’s 2018 Associate Satisfaction survey – the second year in a row that we have jumped up a spot.

Over the past year, the firm has continued to innovate in the ways we recruit, retain, inspire and advance associate talent. In response to associate interest in more information about career paths, we introduced a quarterly career-focused associate newsletter, a job board where associates can learn about opportunities with the firm’s clients and an internal lecture series focused on career planning. We enhanced associate incentives, giving more credit for time devoted to training and working on innovation-related projects, and we are piloting real-time performance feedback. We’ve also added wellness programs like meditation training and parent-to-parent coaching. Orrick’s associates also ranked the firm #6 on the AmLaw survey in the use of technology.
