LAWFUEL – Legal News Network – On Thursday, August 31, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey dismissed in its entirety an antitrust complaint brought by Broadcom Corporation against QUALCOMM Incorporated.
In its complaint, Broadcom alleged that QUALCOMM had engaged in illegal and anti-competitive conduct in the markets for the technology and chipsets that operate cell phones employing a mobile telephone technology called Wideband Code Division Multiple Access. Cravath, led by partners Evan R. Chesler, Richard J. Stark and David R. Marriott, represented QUALCOMM in the case.
