LAWFUEL – Law News Network – There’s been a changing of the guard in the firm’s Perth office – with John Poulsen taking over from Sean Larkan as Managing Partner.
John heads the Finance Division in Western Australia and is recognised as one of that State’s leading finance lawyers, with a client base that includes Westpac, CBA, Macquarie Bank, ANZ, St George and Rabobank. He will continue to practise during his term as Managing Partner.
A member of the Minter Ellison Board for more than 10 years, John is also President of CEDA (Committee for Economic Development of Australia) WA and a member of CEDA’s National Board.
In welcoming John to the role, the firm has also paid tribute to Sean Larkan’s contribution during seven years at the helm of the Perth office – a period of significant growth for the firm in Western Australia. Prior to joining Minter Ellison, Sean had been Managing Partner of Bell Gully in New Zealand and before that Managing Partner of Werksmans Attorneys in South Africa.
Sean is leaving the firm to establish a business consulting practice, focusing on servicing professional services firms on the east coast.
