CHICAGO- LAWFUEL – Legal News, Legal Jobs Network –Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ:HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that Dr. Elizabeth Becker has joined the Company’s Economic Consulting group as a managing director.

With more than 15 years of academic and consulting experience, Dr. Becker’s main area of expertise is employment-related litigation support and consulting. She has prepared economic and statistical analyses in numerous class action employment matters. Dr. Becker has also provided expert testimony in state and federal court and in arbitration regarding liability, damages, settlement, and class certification issues.
Dr. Becker comes to Huron from the Analysis Group where she was a managing principal providing expert testimony primarily in employment-related litigation. Prior to that, she was a principal with PricewaterhouseCoopers where she led the employment economics practice. Dr. Becker received her PhD in Applied Economics and MA in Economics from Clemson University and her BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is based in Huron’s New York office.
