LawFuel.com – IRS Law News – Quatana Naisha Reese, of Los Angeles, was found guilty today in Federal Court in Los Angeles of defrauding the United States of more than $585,000 by filing numerous false income tax returns.
Reese, who is also known as Tana Reese, was indicted by a Federal grand jury in 2004, accused of filing more 100 false income tax returns using a variety of different names with the Internal Revenue Service between 1999 and 2001.
Reese is scheduled to be sentenced before United States District Court Judge Christina Snyder in July, 2007.
The investigation of Reese was conducted by the Los Angeles Field Office of Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation along with the Tax Section of the United States Attorneys Office for the Central District of California.
