LawFuel – US Law News – Facing extradition to Mexico isn’t going to stop Duane “Dog” Chapman or his family from continuing to appear in their popular television series, ‘Dog, The Bounty Hunter’.
In two weeks the fourth season of ‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’ will begin airing on A&E. The new season takes place during the aftermath of Dog’s arrest for the illegal capture of Andrew Luster.
In 2003, Dog, Tim Chapman and Dog’s son, Leland went down to Mexico and arrested serial rapist Andrew Luster, the heir to the Max Factor fortune. Dog and his crew’s efforts resulted in Luster’s conviction and 124 year prison sentence. The Chapmans were arrested last year for Luster’s capture and are expected to stand trial for “deprivation of liberty.” In the meantime, the bounty hunters are out on bail and back to business for another season.
