LAWFUEL – The Legal Newswire – International law firm Clifford Chance is advising Kraft Foods Inc on its offer to acquire the global biscuit business (including the LU brand) of Groupe Danone for USD 7.2 billion in cash. The deal will see Kraft Food Inc becoming Europe’s largest maker of cookies.

The Clifford Chance team was led by partners Sarah Jones, Eric Davoudet, Christian Lachèze Gilles Lebreton and Marcus Billam.
