CLEVELAND– LAWFUEL – The Law Firm Newswire –The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Veyance Technologies, Inc. have closed The Carlyle Group’s acquisition of Goodyear’s engineered products division for $1.475 billion, announced March 23, 2007. Thompson Hine LLP advised Goodyear in the transaction. Goodyear’s engineered products division serves customers in the industrial, military and automotive industries and employs approximately 6,500 people in 32 countries.
