LAWFUEL – The legal Newswire – Lawyers involved in the Northwest Airlines bankruptcy case have been denied fees of over $4 million.
The federal court judge in New York believed they had received enough with their average charge-out rate of $500 an hour.
The major beneficiary of the claims – to the tune of $3.5 million – would have been Cadwalader Wickersham and Taft LLP, which assisted the airline out of bankruptcy in May.
