Ron Paul Focused On A Better Showing In New Hampshire

LawFuel – Ron Paul is not discouraged by a fifth place in the Iowa Caucuses, notwithstanding the disappointment from the Republican candidate’s highly successful fund-raising and profile-raising efforts to date.

Paul came in behind Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, John McCain and Fred Thompson with his anti-war, anti-tax, small-government messages. Paul is now focusing heavily on New Hampshire for the first presidential primary on January 8. Many expect him to fare better in NH, many of whom are attracted to his tax and war policies.

Anti Electoral Finance Website Attracts Widespread Support – And Growing

LAWFUEL – NZ Legal Jobsboard – The website challenging the new electoral finance law is attracting a volume of support from opponents of the legislation although the website owner, Andrew Moore, is aware his dontvotelabour.org.nz site breaches the Electoral Finance Act, which came into force last Tuesday.

The site, which professes not to support any specific political party but rather to oppose Labour, carries comments such as calls for “mass disobedience”, references to Nazi Germany, “go get ’em” guys and the like.

Other contributors talk about setting up similar opposition sites outside of New Zealand and includes apparent Government servants and others from New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East and elsewhere.
