LawFuel – English football hero Paul Gascoigne has been arrested in the UK and ‘sectioned’ under the British Mental Health Act, the Police report.
Police were reportedly called to a hotel in Gascoigne’s home town, Gateshead, where the former footballer, who has a history of emotional instability, was detained. There were no injuries reported.
Gascoigne played for Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio and Rangers. He was capped 57 times for England.
