Kardashian’s Law Play Where Reality Meets The Bar

Kim Kardashian, Esq. (Almost)

Kim Kardashian has done more supervised study hours than most junior associates have billables, completing California’s six-year Law Office Study Program and sitting the state bar in July. Results drop on 7 November and we can expect more online media mashups when that all happens.

The law degree didn’t start as a vanity project. She passed the First-Year Law Students’ Exam in 2021 on her fourth try, then kept and graduated from law school in May, but says she may practice law in 10 years, swapping out Kim K for Kim Kardashian Trial Lawyer.

Her path is the old-school “reading the law” route that California still allows, alongside Virginia, Vermont and Washington.

“I have a few projects coming up—I film my first movie in January, and we are hoping for a season 2 of All’s Fair,” Kim said (per People). “I always want to be growing, curious and evolving, and I want to see wherever that takes me.”
