London Law Move Sees Yet Another Raid on Lathams by Sidley Austin

Fresh from its raid on Latham & Watkins Sidley Austin has returned for more with the recruitment of Jeremy Trinder which is now the 13th recruitment since 2024, hiring a lawyer with strong cross-border experience in the real estate and property financing area with over 30 years' experience in the market. We reported the move to Sidley Austin by James Inness last week. Sidley's media release announcing the move is below - Sidley is pleased to announce that Jeremy Trinder has rejoined the firm as a partner in its Global Finance group in London. He joins from Latham & Watkins LLP, where he was a partner and former global co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate practice. Mr. Trinder was an associate in Sidley’s London office between 2000-2005. Mr. Trinder’s broad cross-border practice represents sponsor, lender, and borrower clients on high-value and complex real estate investment, financing, and restructuring transactions of prominent properties and portfolios.
