Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that Patricia Nilsson has joined the firm’s Stockholm office as an associate in the Corporate Department. A key component to Ms. Nilsson’s corporate practice will include antitrust and competition law. She will be a member of Kilpatrick Stockton’s internationally-recognized Antitrust Team.
“Patricia’s international practice will complement the firm’s growth strategy for the expanding antitrust and competition practice,” said Connie Robinson, who leads Kilpatrick Stockton’s Antitrust Group in D.C. “Her wide-range of experience will enhance an already strong team.”
Ms. Nilsson’s competition law experience includes preparation of merger control notifications to the European Commission and the Swedish Competition Authority; involvement in antitrust litigations before the Swedish Market Court; numerous filings with multiple jurisdictions involved; and assessment of vertical and horizontal agreements from a competition law point of view. Her industry expertise includes the forest & paper, petrol and retail business sectors.
Prior to joining Kilpatrick Stockton, Ms. Nilsson was a member of the Vinge EC- and Antitrust Department in Stockholm and has served as a law clerk in the District Court in Landskrona, Sweden.
In 1999, Ms. Nilsson earned her international LL.M from the University of Lund in Sweden and has studied EC law at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Ms. Nilsson is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and has lectured on competition law.
