ATLANTA (February 27 – LAWFUEL) — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that Paul Rosenblatt, Partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Team, will be a featured panelist at the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal 2009 Symposium at Emory Law School on March 5. The sixth annual symposium provides practical and timely topics on both consumer and business bankruptcy law. Bankruptcy specialists – including judges, professors, and practitioners – will debate current and best practices, and consider the larger policy implications of bankruptcy law. Mr. Rosenblatt is participating on the business bankruptcy panel, which will address “Hot Topics in Retail Bankruptcy.”
Mr. Rosenblatt’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency matters and bankruptcy and related litigation. His experience includes representing debtors, creditor committees, secured and unsecured creditors, equity holders, bidders and asset acquirers and plaintiffs and defendants in bankruptcy related litigation. Recently Mr. Rosenblatt represented Friedman’s, Inc. as debtors counsel (DE), the creditors committee in Atlantis Plastics, Inc. (GA), a major creditor in Inphonic, Inc. (DE) and defendants in various bankruptcy litigation matters.
He also has substantial experience in bankruptcy telecom matters, representing major creditors in the bankruptcy cases of WorldCom, Global Crossing and Adelphia.
