Launched in the House of Commons ILIP, a partnership firm between Sarosh Zaiwalla of Zaiwalla & Co., Solicitors, one of the first Indian law firms in London, Hemant Sahai of Hemant Sahai Associates, Advocates, India, and Alkanshree Dahar of India law Offices, is one of the first international law firms in India to start an office in London.
ILIP has opened offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Goa, in addition to London and has a team of more than 40 Indian lawyers.
Zaiwalla said that the ILIP aimed to fill the long felt need for an Indian law firm to provide quality advise on Indian law and India’s business culture and practice to British, American and European clients who have business interests in India.
Sarosh Zaiwalla, who hails from India and is also qualified as an Indian advocate, will provide services to enable ILIP to act for Indian clients involved in London International Arbitration and British and European clients involved in International Arbitration in India.
Hemant Sahai, another experienced Indian lawyer specializes in and has handled several large and significant infrastructure projects and capital markets and corporate finance transactions in India, for large multi-national companies.
Alkanshree Dahar specialises in international arbitrations involving Indian laws and corporate commercial transactions in India.
