PARIS — November 25, 2004 – LAWFUEL – Law, legal, attorney news – Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe announced today that Alfred Fink has joined its Paris office as a partner in the firm’s European corporate group. Prior to joining Orrick, Fink was an international partner in the Paris office of Haarmann Hemmelrath, the highly regarded international German firm of lawyers, accountants and tax advisors. Before that he had been a partner in the Paris office of Landwell & Associes and international manager of Coopers & Lybrand’s Europe office in Brussels and London.
At Orrick, Fink will continue to focus his practice on real estate and corporate transactions. He has significant experience in the fields of structured finance, securitisation, leasing, mergers and acquisitions, insolvency and restructuring and international tax. Fink’s expertise will be particularly valuable as German investors and mortgage banks become ever more active in the French real estate markets.
