February 21, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Nixon Peabody LLP was ranked second by Dow Jones & Company’s Private Equity Analyst among leading law firms nationally for the number of private equity or venture capital funds they have negotiated and closed for general partners and limited partners in 2004. The firm moved up four positions from last year’s rating with 169 funds closed, up from 103 in 2003.
Nixon Peabody retained its seventeenth place ranking among law firms nationally in the number of private equity and venture capital deals they have negotiated and closed on in 2004, although the number of these deals rose from 72 in 2003 to 96 in 2004.
