9 March 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Skadden is representing The May Department Stores Company in its acquisition by Federated Department Stores, Inc. The deal is reportedly valued at $17 billion.
The deal value includes $11 billion in equity and $6 billion of May’s debt.
