(Nasdaq: JNPR) of Sunnyvale, California. Santa Clara-based Peribit is a leader in Wide Area Network (WAN) optimization technology. Juniper will pay approximately $337 million in cash, stock and assumed options for Peribit. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions, and is expected to close during the second quarter of 2005.
