Clifford Chance advises CEREP Libri on the sale of Freshfields House in Hamburg

The international law firm Clifford Chance advised CEREP Libri GmbH, a company belonging to the Carlyle Group, on the sale of an office and commercial building in the Hamburg city centre. The purchaser is Deka Immobilien, which acquired the property on behalf of its real estate investment trust WestInvest Immo Value. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The main tenant of the office and commercial building located at Hohe Bleichen 7 is the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer which plans to occupy 8,500 sqm of the total office space of 10,350 sqm by the end of the year. The ground floor has 1,500 sqm of retail space.
