Alistair Duffield is a new partner in the Singapore Office of Holman Fenwick + Willan. Alistair has been based in Singapore for more than 12 years and has worked on Asian transactions since 1985. He joins the firm from the Singapore office of White & Case LLP where he was a Partner for 7 years.
Alistair specialises in project finance, energy transactions, bank and asset finance, and general commercial transactions with particular expertise in fuel supply and transportation contracts for major projects. He is a member of the faculty of CoalTrans and has delivered papers on long term coal supply contracts for their workshops. Both ‘Chambers Global’ and ‘Asia Law and Practice’ directories recognise Alistair as a leading lawyer in the field of Project Finance. A graduate of Leeds University (LLB), he is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales, and in New South Wales.
