Atlanta, September, 2006 – LAWFUEL – Law Firm News – At the State Bar of Georgia’s upcoming Fall CLE seminar and luncheon taking place on September 12, King & Spalding partner Lovita Tandy will moderate a panel discussion entitled “Law Firms Meeting the Challenge to Diversify”. Several Georgia law firms are slated to participate in the discussion, which will focus on diversity in the legal workplace and the efforts put forth in today’s top law firms to increase diversity in the legal field.

King & Spalding has a long tradition of promoting greater diversity within the firm and throughout the legal profession. According to a study published in the Fall 2006 issue of MultiCultural Law magazine, the firm ranks sixteenth in the nation for overall diversity, 5th for African Americans and 12th for women. In addition, Minority Law Journal ranked King & Spalding fourth in the nation for having the highest number of African-American lawyers.
