Attorneys Morrison & Foerster Elevates 24 to the Partnership

SAN FRANCISCO/NEW YORK (January 7, 2008) – LAWFUEL – US Law Firm Announcements – Morrison & Foerster LLP has named 24 new partners from its associate and of-counsel ranks for 2008.

The two dozen partners are resident in 10 offices and represent a continuing investment in deepening a number of the firm’s major litigation and business practices, including corporate and securities, intellectual property, life sciences, technology, financial institutions, real estate, land use and environmental, products liability and privacy law, federal tax, and state and local tax.

“We are pleased to welcome our newest group of partners, all of whom have shown tremendous commitment and exceptional practice success in their still-young careers,” said Morrison & Foerster chair Keith Wetmore.

“While high-profile lateral partners tend to generate the most attention, we’re especially proud of those attorneys who have come up through the ranks here at Morrison & Foerster. Seven of the members of this class were our summer associates. Women make up one-third of the new class.” Mr. Wetmore added, “This class also has a large concentration of lawyers with significant international, government, and company experience. The energy, experience, and skill contributed by these younger partners make a critical contribution to success for our clients.”
