Fenwick today announced the election of five lawyers to its partnership, effective January 1, 2027.
“From their varied practices to their individual talents, this partner class reflects the breadth of Fenwick,” said Fenwick Chair Richard Dickson. “They bring fresh thinking, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to our clients, colleagues, and firm.”
The partners-elect, who are based in New York, Santa Monica, and Silicon Valley, are:
Dargaye Churnet, Litigation, Santa Monica: Dargaye achieves favorable outcomes for clients in patent disputes, whether through pre-litigation negotiations and motions to dismiss or, when necessary, trial and appeal. His electrical and computer engineering background equips him to quickly grasp technologies ranging from automatic speech recognition and cloud computing to social media, e-commerce, and gaming. Dargaye has also built a robust inter partes review practice and routinely wins decisions from the USPTO invalidating patent claims asserted against his clients.
Glenn Foulds, Ph.D., Intellectual Property, Silicon Valley: Glenn is a trusted patent counselor to life sciences companies, bringing a decade of scientific research experience and firsthand startup experience to every client relationship. With 15 years of patent prosecution experience, he counsels biotech and pharmaceutical clients on patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio strategy, and IP diligence for small molecules, peptide therapeutics, biologics, and platform technologies. Before practicing law, Glenn was a postdoctoral and startup scientist who developed small molecule drugs, nucleic acid technology, and engineered peptide biomolecules.
Adine Mitrani, Intellectual Property, New York: Adine counsels companies across artificial intelligence and machine learning, software as a service, consumer technology, and media on technology transactions and IP matters. She has advised clients on all stages of the product development lifecycle, including deploying cutting-edge technology, data licensing strategy, complex commercial agreements, AI governance, financings, and exits.
Charles Moulins, Litigation, New York: Charles represents technology and life sciences innovators in strategically sensitive disputes, with a focus on each company’s business goals. His clients include leading companies in the AI space, whom he advises on emerging legal risks and defends in high-stakes litigation. He has litigated in federal and state courts and in individual and mass arbitrations, and regularly argues novel legal issues requiring the application of existing law to new, quickly evolving technologies.
Zachary Portnoy, Corporate, New York: Zach advises public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, growth investments, carve-outs, and other complex strategic transactions. His experience spans a wide range of technology industries, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, games, semiconductors, and software, and he has significant cross-border experience across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Zach also counsels boards and executive teams on governance, shareholder engagement, and general corporate matters.
