Bill Brack, who has more than two decades of legal and lobbying experience in the nation’s capital, has joined the Washington office of Bracewell & Patterson L.L.P. as partner in the Government Relations, Advocacy and Strategy Section.
Brack’s background spans both the public and private sectors. He served as chief of staff and chief counsel to former U.S. Sen. Hank Brown, R-Colo., and was a shareholder with the Washington firms of Brownstein, Hyatt & Farber and Williams & Jensen.

Brack began his law career as a tax attorney with Williams & Jensen and has been involved with every congressional tax bill written in the past 20 years. At Brownstein, Hyatt & Farber’s Washington office his practice included telecommunications, anti-trust, technology, trade, banking, energy, environment, privacy, health, insurance, agriculture, tax, natural resources, money transfer and transportation. He also has extensive experience representing Indian tribes in legislative and administrative matters.
Brack received his law degree from the University of Tulsa School of Law. He also holds bachelor’s degrees in business accounting and mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado.
